RETAIL SALES ASSISTANT

Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week

Compensation: $10.00 per hour plus Commissions

Snow’s Furniture in Enid is looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized Retail Sales Assistant to support our sales team and help create an excellent experience for every customer.

This is primarily a sales-support position rather than an independent commissioned sales role. The Retail Sales Assistant will greet customers, assist members of the sales team, enter orders, prepare financing paperwork, answer phones, follow up with customers, and help keep the showroom organized and ready for business.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, is comfortable learning new technology, pays attention to details, and is willing to help wherever needed.

• Welcome customers and help connect them with a sales team member
• Provide general assistance to customers throughout their shopping experience
• Support commissioned salespeople with customer service and administrative duties
• Answer incoming telephone calls and direct inquiries appropriately
• Enter sales, customer information, and product orders accurately
• Assist customers and salespeople with financing applications and paperwork
• Follow up with customers regarding purchases, orders, financing, and other needs
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and attractive showroom
• Assist with product pricing, tagging, merchandising, and inventory-related tasks
• Learn and use the company’s point-of-sale and other technology systems
• Work cooperatively with the sales and management teams
• Perform other reasonable store-support duties as needed

• Previous furniture or retail experience is not required
• Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with customers
• Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
• Comfortable using computers and learning new technology
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Willing to take initiative and help where needed
• Able to maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude

This is a full-time position averaging 36-40 hours per week. Weekend availability is required, including Sundays. Specific working days and hours will be established by store management.

• $10.00 per hour
• Commission equal to 1% of total Enid location sales, subject to the terms of the company’s compensation plan
• Compensation: $10.00 - $10.00 per hour

This position is an important part of the customer experience at Snow’s Furniture. The successful candidate will help keep the sales process organized, support our salespeople, and make sure customers receive friendly and timely assistance from the moment they enter the store through the completion of their purchase.
