Medical Device Cleaning & Inspection Associate

Kelly Services is now hiring Medical Device Processing Associates for Stryker, a global leader in medical technology. In this critical role, you'll help inspect, sort, clean, sanitize, and prepare surgical instruments and medical devices used in healthcare facilities across the country. Schedule / Pay Rates:

  • 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
  • $18.50 per hour
  • 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM
  • $19.50 per hour
  • Weekly Pay!
  • Overtime available on Saturdays as business needs require
  • Opportunity for long-term employment with Stryker after 90 days based on performance, attendance, and business needs

What You'll Do:

  • As a Medical Device Processing Associate, you'll support the inspection, sorting, cleaning, sanitization, packaging, and movement of medical devices and surgical equipment while following strict quality, safety, and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Unload medical devices and equipment from containers and staging areas
  • Sort products while identifying and removing sharps, batteries, and other foreign materials
  • Inspect devices for cleanliness, quality, and damage
  • Process medical devices through sanitization equipment and chemical cleaning systems
  • Verify products are free from residue and prepared for the next stage of processing
  • Repackage and organize medical products after inspection
  • Stack boxes on pallets, shrink-wrap, and prepare shipments for distribution
  • Move materials throughout the facility using pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
  • Utilize barcode scanners and inventory tracking systems
  • Support bin cleaning, drying, wrapping, and staging operations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all company safety, quality, and cleanroom procedures
  • Assist with additional production and warehouse duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production and warehouse environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity when handling small parts and instruments
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to follow written instructions, safety procedures, and standard operating processes
  • Must be able to comply with required cleanroom gowning and PPE procedures
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Availability for overtime as needed

Work Environment:

  • This position is located within a medical device processing and warehouse facility. Team members will wear required PPE, including protective gowns, hair nets, safety glasses, face shields, and shoe coverings. The role requires standing for extended periods, handling medical equipment, lifting up to 50 pounds, working in a production-focused environment, and following strict cleanliness and safety standards. Comprehensive training is provided, and all required PPE is supplied by Stryker.
