Security Officer - Building Surveillance

What You’ll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by following site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response guidelines at a technology‑focused location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns through appropriate channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions or maintenance‑related issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to support authorized access, verify credentials when required, and address questions or concerns professionally.
Support day‑to‑day site operations by communicating with client representatives and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, policy questions, and evolving conditions at the location.

Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Thu 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age for this unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
