Field Service Technician – Chandler, AZ

We are seeking an energetic, self‑starter Field Service Technician to support bulk gas delivery systems in customer facilities. The role involves hands‑on maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support to maintain and troubleshoot bulk gas delivery systems installed at Air Products UHP customers’ facilities.
- Oversee facility support bulk gas equipment, performing daily rounds and readings.
- Generate, modify, and complete detailed Site Work Instructions (SWIMs) and write Temporary Work Instructions (TWI) for non‑standard activities.
- Supervise product deliveries and C‑of‑A documentation to ensure product purity.
- Assist the team with unscheduled shifts, weekends, and coverage of vacation, sick days, training, bereavement, etc.
- Ability to work safely in industrial environments and climb ladders, steps, and lift up to 50 lbs under all weather conditions.
- Mechanical competence with troubleshooting skills, strong collaboration, self‑motivation, and safety consciousness.
- Preferred background in maintaining electronic controls, pneumatic systems, pumps, pressure vessels, reciprocating and centrifugal compressors.
- Strong communication skills for customer interaction and internal reporting.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with ultra‑high purity (UHP) system components (bellows, diaphragm, VCR).
- Schedule:
Monday‑Friday flex (7 am‑3 pm) with willingness to work unscheduled shifts when needed. - This is a safety‑sensitive position.
- High school diploma or equivalent with 1–3 years of maintenance/mechanical experience.
- Technical degree preferred (not required).
- Military experience as a Machinist Mate, Electrician Mate, Electronic Technician, Aircraft Maintenance, or Cryogenic Technician, or technical school training in process or electrical technology, industrial systems, electrical power and controls, electromechanical technology, HVAC, is highly desirable.
