Sheet Metal Foreman

Comfort Systems USA Southwest is seeking a proficient Sheet Metal Foreman to manage ductwork projects and lead the sheet metal crew.

• Plan and oversee duct detailing, including ordering, coordinating, and inspecting materials for accuracy and project timelines.
• Coordinate ductwork installation with other trades, schedule subcontractors, and manage equipment deliveries.
• Supervise installation of ducts, accessories, and related materials; set daily and weekly goals.
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure installation quality, safety, and code compliance.
• Inspect assemblies to verify conformance to specifications and SMACNA requirements.
• Perform pre‑employment drug screening and background checks as part of the hiring process.

• Minimum five years of commercial sheet metal experience.
• Proficiency with ductwork types: TDF, Pittsburgh and snap lock construction, TDC, Duct Mate, 22mm, 35mm, S & D, spiral, duct board fiberglass, FRP.
• Extensive knowledge of local building codes and SMACNA standards.
• Basic understanding of OSHA and ADOSH safety requirements.
• Familiarity with shop equipment, layout, and fabrication principles.
• Ability to read and interpret duct system layouts from blueprints and elevations.
