OVERVIEW
Archer Western is currently seeking a Carpenter for the Chandler Water Treatment Plant, Chandler, AZ. The Carpenter constructs, erects, and installs structures made of wood, plywood, wallboard, and other materials using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machines on commercial, industrial, or heavy civil jobsites.

RESPONSIBILITIES- Measures distance and marks guidelines on the working surface to prepare for laying down work.
- Prepares, builds, and installs wooden structures in line with prefabricated units to form bridges, drain structures, walls, and additional structures.
- May assist with the installation of awnings and metal decking for concrete slabs (if decking is removed).
- Uses the carpenter’s belt with carpentry hand tools, power tools, and other wood‑making machinery.
- 3‑5 years of verifiable experience.
- Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold or ladder.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions.
- Must comply with all safety policies and procedures and communicate effectively with co‑workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly.
- Strong work ethic and a desire to learn.
- Good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods.
- Must pass a pre‑employment drug screening.
- 3‑5 años de experiencia verificable.
