We are seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic to join our aircraft maintenance team. In this role, you will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on general aviation aircraft while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with FAA regulations and company standards.

This position requires candidates to hold both a valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate and a current Inspection Authorization (IA) at the time of hire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on general aviation aircraft.
  • Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and maintain aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer specifications.
  • Read and interpret maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, parts catalogs, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives.
  • Complete accurate maintenance records, aircraft logbook entries, and return-to-service documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with Title 14 CFR Parts 43 and 91.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
  • Prioritize workload and manage multiple maintenance tasks efficiently.
  • Operate maintenance equipment, shop tools, and company vehicles as required.
  • Work collaboratively with maintenance personnel while also performing duties independently.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and learn computerized maintenance management systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Current FAA Inspection Authorization (IA).
  • Minimum 3 consecutive years of recent General Aviation maintenance experience as a certificated A&P mechanic.
  • Strong knowledge of FAA maintenance regulations and aircraft airworthiness requirements.
  • Ability to independently evaluate aircraft airworthiness and make maintenance decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience maintaining Piper aircraft.
  • Experience with Garmin G1000 avionics.
  • Previous experience with computerized maintenance management software.
