Job Title:

Facility Technician

We are now hiring for a motivated Facility Technician to join our team!

The selected candidate will perform and help refine existing production PMs + assist in the development of additional PMs, waste handling, manage and service our wastewater treatment system, align with True Chem chemical titration process, etc. Further the selected candidate will receive extensive hands‑on training from the Facilities and Equipment leaders and engineers to assume tasks that are currently being performed by those individuals.

Responsibilities

will include but not be limited to:
  • Assumption and evaluation of current site production PMs.
  • Maintaining the PM Module in IMSXpress.
  • Assisting in construction/installation tasks related to new project realization.
  • Assist in the development of troubleshooting checklists and respond to properly submitted trouble tickets.
  • Performing equipment and building repairs initially under the supervision of the equipment and facility leads but eventually assuming full ownership of assigned tasks.
  • 6S Ownership of the Maintenance shop, Compressor room, Electrical Room and WWIX Plant.
  • Managing Chemical benches and Haz Waste handling.
  • Managing Wastewater treatment system PM’s.
  • True Chem titrations and bath make ups.
  • Site EHS compliance tasks involving waste handling and permitting.
Job Skill Requirements

The successfully selected candidates must have:

  • Excellent mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Capable of performing handyman work like assembling furniture, painting, use drills, grinders etc…
  • Willingness to learn new technical skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work outside of standard hours if needed.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and written work instructions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from technicians, engineers, and managers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Individual who is a self-starter and can work independently
  • Safety and reliability are key – Individual should have an excellent attendance and safety record.
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds on a sporadic basis.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, including protective eye wear, and steel-toe shoes.
  • Must be able to be respirator certified.

Working hours for this position are Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm
