Job Description
Shifts:
- Back half days: 6am - 6pm Thurs through Sat every other Wed
- Back half nights: 6pm - 6am Thurs through Sat every other Wed
- Front half days: 6am - 6pm Sun through Tues every other Wed
- Front half nights: 6pm - 6am Sun through Tues every other Wed
Day to Day:
Insight Global is looking for an Onsite Service Engineer to join the team of a large Semiconductor equipment manufacturer. The primary responsibility of this individual is to sustain equipment onsite at one of their client locations in Chandler, AZ. This will include installing and troubleshooting vacuum pumps, abatement, gas, and chemical delivery systems, to ensure the equipment is functioning at an optimum level and any equipment failures are rectified immediately.
The ideal candidate is someone that has prior mechanical / electrical troubleshooting experience and is looking to apply that knowledge within the semiconductor industry. This individual will need to be reliable and have a strong desire to show up to work every day, eager to learn and apply the various trainings they will complete. This apprenticeship includes both hands on training with the equipment, along with online coursework throughout the duration of the role, to ensure that you re consistently growing your knowledge and improving your skills.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Adhering to safety and sub fab protocols to maintain a zero-hazard environment
- Maintaining punctuality and professional behavior with both peers and clients
- Operation of test equipment including various test meters, hand tools, and power tools
- Reviewing detailed electrical schematics and mechanical drawings to troubleshoot equipment failures
- Working collaboratively with team members, driving a positive work environment, and jumping in to assist coworkers as needed

- 2+ years of experience troubleshooting Electrical / Mechanical systems
- Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and other equipment diagrams
- Strong desire to further your knowledge through hands on training and supplemental online coursework Strong understanding of electrical components including relays, controllers, fuse boxes, inverters, ect.
- Prior military experience within a MOS responsible for sustaining / troubleshooting equipment
