The Journeyman Electrician is a skilled field technician responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems per the National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA standards, NFPA 70E guidelines, and 48 Electric's internal policies. This role plays a vital part in delivering mission-critical projects by upholding safety, quality, and integrity across every job site.
Journeyman Electricians must have their own tools, reliable transportation, be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a drug test and background check. We work in a highly professional environment, not a general construction jobsite. Professionalism is a requirement.
Responsibilities:- Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide solutions
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes
- Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification
- Minimum of 8,000 documented working hours
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring methods
- Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints and schematics
- Experience in building, renovating, or maintaining electrical systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Monday through Friday, starting at 06:30a and some Saturdays
