Journeyman Electrician - Commercial & Data Center Projects

A well-established and growing commercial and industrial electrical contractor is seeking a highly professional, experienced and motivated Journeyman to join our mission-critical service team. This role is ideal for an experienced electrician who thrives in secure environments, demonstrates leadership under pressure, performs high quality work and delivers top-tier service with integrity.

Ideal candidates have four to ten years of commercial and industrial work - new build or service work is fine. Strong NEC knowledge, passion for our electrical trade and willing to work in the field with our service team and grow into leadership positions.

About the Role:

You’ll work on projects in high-security confidential and exclusive client environments, including data centers and critical facilities. The ideal candidate has experience in strategic electrical service, maintenance and new construction installations, with the ability to lead crews, interface with clients and uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, safety, quality, and professionalism in our exclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and oversee electrical installations, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Lead small to mid-sized teams in secure, high-performance environments
• Communicate professionally with clients, site reps and internal teams
• Ensure strict adherence to jobsite safety, compliance and project timelines
• Maintain detailed job documentation and reporting
• Interpret blueprints, one-lines and specs with accuracy and accountability

Qualifications:

• Active journeyman license preferred or 8,000 documented hours of electrical on-the-job training hours required
• 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
• Previous leadership or foreman experience highly desired
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E and OSHA standards
• Ability to pass stringent background checks and drug testing
• Professional appearance, demeanor and communication required
• Comfortable working in sensitive, security-cleared and high-stakes environments
• IR Scanning experience is preferred

Pay: $30.00 - $43.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
