Noontime Aide - 1.5 hours per day
Employment Type: Part-time
Minimum Entry: $16.53 per hour
Benefits: PTO, holidays, professional growth credit
Performance Pay: Up to $600 annually, prorated based on FTE
New Hire Experience Credit: Starting hourly rate determined by experience in a full‑time role with similar duties over the previous 10 years; 1% per year beginning in year 2, capped at 5%
New Hire Education Credit: Associates degree or higher may qualify for a 1% increase, combined with experience credit, capped at 5%
Job GoalMonitor and supervise the activities of children in the cafeteria or other facility.
Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work with children at different age levels
- Some experience in rearing, supervising, or working with children
- Good human relations skills
- Knowledge of and adherence to all policies, regulations, and rules
- Maintain surveillance of the assigned area to assure safe and responsible conduct
- Foster and maintain effective relationships with students
- Monitor the activities of students at play or in the cafeteria
- Counsel and intervene to prevent unacceptable behavior
- Refer disciplinary cases to the appropriate authority
- Report unauthorized persons on school premises
- Notify the school health office in case of an accident
- Perform all duties safely and prudently as directed
- Perform other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the position
- Respond to all internal and external customers in a prompt, efficient, friendly, and patient manner

- Positions often require stooping, kneeling, crouching, standing, walking, and sitting
- Job involves finger or manual dexterity, repetitive finger motion, speaking, hearing, seeing (with correction), and focusing ability

- Work may require lifting or exerting up to 40 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently
