Tanzu Api Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking an API Platform Integration Engineer to support the integration of VMware Tanzu within a private cloud enterprise environment. The platform is already implemented—this role focuses on integrating Tanzu into the organization’s ecosystem by building new APIs, extending existing ones, and enabling how systems connect and communicate across the environment. A key part of this role is understanding how segregated systems and services interconnect through APIs.

• Strong Python development (core language requirement)
• Linux (working environment + scripting)
• API development (REST, JSON)
• Experience integrating distributed/enterprise systems

• Design, build, and extend APIs to integrate Tanzu with internal systems
• Develop new APIs where functionality does not exist
• Enhance and adapt existing APIs to fit enterprise requirements
• Enable connectivity between segregated systems through well‑designed API layers
• Work closely with platform, Dev Ops, and application teams
• Ensure APIs are scalable, secure, and maintainable

Expert Level

Contract position based out of Chandler, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $70.24 - $70.24/hr.
