About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer / Application Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions that support critical business initiatives. This role requires strong expertise in data engineering, ETL processes, and enterprise application development.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance applications
• Build and optimize data processing pipelines, stored procedures, and reporting solutions
• Develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load large datasets from multiple sources
• Apply software architecture and design principles to deliver robust solutions
• Create and maintain functional system design documentation
• Debug, analyze, and enhance existing systems and applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Document solutions through technical documentation, diagrams, and code comments

Minimum Qualifications

• 7+ years of application development and implementation experience
• 7+ years of experience with SQL Server and SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
• 5+ years of experience working within SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies
• 2+ years of experience with Hadoop, Spark, and Hive
• 2+ years of experience designing software solutions using architectural design principles
• 2+ years of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) development experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building scalable, high-performance data systems
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in complex enterprise environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
