Job Summary

Software Engineer role focused on building Python-based agents for network and security automation. The role requires experience in scripting, closed-loop automation, dynamic AI workflows, and orchestration of multi-step actions across network, security, and cloud domains.

• Build Python-based agents that interact with network, security, and cloud environments.
• Implement closed-loop automation, including detect, analyze, remediate, and validate steps.
• Replace static runbooks with dynamic, adaptive AI workflows.
• Orchestrate multi-step actions across network, security, and cloud domains.
• Design agents that operate consistently across provider APIs, abstracted control layers, and hybrid decision logic (edge, cloud, data center).
• Collaborate with a team of software engineers to design and develop web-based software solutions and automation.
• Develop solutions for network‑defined automation and/or cloud IT, including CLI, API development, and integration with network and security products.
• Build backend services using Django, Flask, or FASTAPI, including multiprocessing, multithreading, and event-driven application development.
• Create frontend components using React, Vue, or Angular.
• Model relational databases (SQLite, MySQL) and perform query optimization.
• Apply IT standards, controls, and application security development practices.
• Follow software development methodologies and infrastructure practices.
• Plan, analyze, and organize work effectively.
• Execute CI/CD pipelines and deliver automated software testing.
• Work with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle).

• Software Engineer experience with multiple scripting languages.
• Strong understanding of data structures and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with relational databases and data modeling.
• Knowledge of IT standards, controls, and application security.
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous delivery processes.
• Experience with public cloud environments.
