Engineer Guidance Navigation Control

An aerospace client is looking for a GNC Engineer to provide security escorting services by personally escorting, remaining physically present, and visually monitoring all activities of uncleared personnel assigned to approve work areas.

Location: Chandler, Arizona 85286 (Onsite)
Position: GNC Engineer
Pay Rate: $77.07hr on W2 (DOE)
Duration: 12 months or longer
Schedule: 9×80 A with every other Friday off.

In this position, you will contribute to the development and evaluation of guidance, navigation, and control systems for advanced aerospace applications, including aircraft, spacecraft, missiles, and launch vehicles. Your work will involve applying mathematical models, control theories, and algorithm development to achieve precision in navigation and control performance. You will also play a key role in analyzing system behavior, designing solutions, and integrating hardware and software components to ensure system reliability and mission success.

• Design, develop, implement, verify, and test high-quality software and simulation tool chains
• Work on a 6 degree of freedom (6
  
  DOF) simulation to design and test flight code
• Optimize flight software and simulation software
• Work with various trajectory optimization software and tools

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 0 years of professional experience.
• Must have existing U.S. Government security clearance at Secret or Top Secret
• Exposure to C++, Python, and development in a Linux environment

• Master’s or PhD in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Control systems theory and guidance law design
• Competence in C++, Python, Jira, and development in a Linux environment
