Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Golang Developer to design, build, and release APIs supporting a containers capacity platform automation. This role will focus on the implementation and adoption of container technologies and best practices for automation, deployment, and configuration. The position involves working with controllers and tools to integrate enterprise shared services into a Kubernetes ecosystem and collaborating with a geographically dispersed team to ensure the platform's reliability and robustness.

Key Responsibilities
* Design, build, and release APIs for platform automation.
* Perform code reviews and execute Dev Ops functions.
* Develop controllers and tools for integrating shared services into the Kubernetes ecosystem.
* Implement best practices for container technology automation, deployment, configuration, and monitoring.
* Work with project teams to ensure proper design for high availability and failover.
* Develop and build automation tools and processes for development and production environments.
* Collaborate with a geographically dispersed team to ensure platform reliability.

Required Qualifications
*
* Experience:

*** A minimum of 3 years of experience as a software engineer building distributed enterprise platforms.
* Hands-on experience developing and delivering scalable APIs and backend services in a production environment.
* Proven experience with container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices, including code reviews and automated testing.
* Experience implementing high availability, failover, and resiliency patterns.
** Technical

Skills:

*** Proficiency in Go, with additional experience in Java or Python considered.
* API development experience using Go.
* Kubernetes development experience, including building or working with controllers, operators, or platform integrations.
* Knowledge of SQL and No

SQL databases.
* Understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
* Experience with automation tools and infrastructure-as-code like Terraform, Ansible, or Helm.
* Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.

Preferred Qualifications
* A Bachelor's or Master's degree.
* Experience with Kubernetes platforms, operators, and controllers.
* Familiarity with cloud-managed Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE).
* Knowledge of Git Ops, CI/CD, and deployment tools such as Helm or ArgoCD.
* Experience with service mesh and observability tools.
* Background in enterprise integrations including IAM, secrets, and networking.
* Exposure to SRE practices like resiliency, SLOs, and monitoring.
* Experience with event-driven systems, for example, Kafka.
