Embedded Software Engineer 3Location: Chandler, Arizona (Onsite)
Clearance: Secret Clearance
Role OverviewAs a Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in performing software development for a key program. This position supports requirements development, architecture development, detailed design, code and unit test, and integration and test of real-time computer embedded software. You will work in a collaborative multi-discipline team environment and ensure that all software standards are met.
Key Responsibilities- Support requirements development, architecture development, detailed design, code and unit test, and integration and test of real-time computer embedded software.
- Ensure software standards are met.
- Work in a collaborative multi-discipline team environment.
Education: A Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems, or a related field is required.
Experience: Candidates must have experience in embedded real-time software development, debug, and test, as well as experience with the full software development lifecycle. Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are also necessary.
Must be willing and able to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance within a reasonable timeframe as determined by the program
Technical Skills- Object-Oriented (OO) software development experience in C/C++ on a Linux environment.
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) environments such as VxWorks, Integrity, LynxOS, Yocto Linux, or other equivalent RTOS.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen. Secret Clearance highly preferred
Preferred Qualifications- Active DOD Secret Clearance
- Experience with PowerPC, ARM, and/or RISC-V architectures.
- Experience in design, integration, and testing with real-time computer-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop test laboratories.
- Experience in developing interfaces to support weapon system integration efforts.
