Position SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and energetic Entry-Level Golf Coach to lead and oversee academy group classes. This role is responsible for delivering structured practice sessions, tracking player progress, and creating an engaging training environment that keeps players coming back each week.
This is an ideal opportunity for a coach who is passionate about player development, enjoys working with groups, and wants to grow within a high-level coaching system.
Key Responsibilities Group Coaching & Instruction- Lead and supervise academy group classes for junior and adult players
- Deliver structured, organized practice sessions aligned with Combine Golf standards
- Provide clear instruction and individualized feedback within a group setting
- Maintain control of the group while creating a positive and energetic atmosphere
- Execute weekly practice plans focused on skill development and performance
- Incorporate games, competitions, and challenges to keep sessions engaging
- Ensure players are actively training, not just hitting balls
- Manage time and flow of each session efficiently
- Track attendance, performance, and player progress
- Record scores, assessments, and skill metrics as part of academy systems
- Provide feedback to players and parents when appropriate
- Assist in implementing Combine Golf evaluation systems
- Build relationships with players and families
- Create an environment that is fun, motivating, and consistent
- Encourage attendance, effort, and long‑term development
- Help drive retention through a positive player experience
- Set up and organize practice stations before sessions
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional training environment
- Represent the Combine Golf brand with professionalism and energy
- Basic understanding of golf fundamentals and instruction
- Playing experience (high school, college, or competitive amateur preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage groups and stay organized
- Energetic, positive, and coachable attitude
- Willingness to learn and follow Combine Golf systems
- Experience coaching juniors or group classes
- PGA Associate or interest in pursuing PGA certification
- Background in coaching, teaching, or sports performance
- Understanding of modern practice methods and skill development
- Hourly or session-based pay (based on experience)
- Opportunities to grow into private coaching roles
