Full Time

Responsible for pickup and delivery of inbound and outbound to customer locations, using company vehicles at least 50% of the time. Employee driver will operate commercial motor vehicles (vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight Range of >10,000 lb ≤26,000 lb) in the area surrounding a DB Schenker facility (within a 150 air‑mile radius).

Hourly Rate $25

Wed‑Fri and every other Sat 6:00pm‑6:00am.

• Verify shipment bills for required information and load freight onto trucks
• Unload freight from trucks and weigh/check dimensions compared to shipper’s calculations
• Sort outbound freight between overnight and second‑day and load ULD and trucks
• Deliver freight to customer location using company vehicles
• Recover freight from customer location using company vehicles

• Meet all Federal and State standards of qualification for commercial drivers, including but not limited to those set by the Department of Transportation and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Perform up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
• 25% of time spent climbing, including ascending or descending stairs.
• Up to 25% of time spent kneeling, bending legs at the knee.
• Up to 25% of time spent crouching, bending the body downward and forward.
• 25‑75% of time spent reaching, extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
• 25‑75% of time spent standing, particularly for sustained periods.
• 25‑75% of time spent walking, moving about on foot to accomplish tasks.
• 25‑75% of time spent pushing, using upper extremities to apply steady force.
• More than 75% of time spent pulling, using upper extremities to draw, drag, haul, or tug objects.
• 25‑75% of time spent lifting, raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving horizontally.
• 25‑75% of time spent performing repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, shoulders, and/or fingers.
• 25‑75% of time spent grasping, applying pressure with fingers and palm.
• 25‑75% of time spent talking, conveying detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers.
• 25‑75% of time spent hearing, receiving detailed information through oral communication and making fine discriminations in sound.

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass any federal, state, local government, airport, or company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests.

Good interpersonal skills required. High school diploma or equivalent required. Prefer 2-4 years of experience. This is an intermediate level position.
