Certified School Bus Driver ​/ Maintenance Head

Role

Responsible for safely and efficiently transporting students and passengers to school and related events.

• Drive school bus, conduct safety inspections, maintain logs, and ensure proper passenger drop-off.
• Operate wheelchair lifts, secure passengers, and manage student discipline. Perform minor maintenance and cleaning tasks. Communicate with staff and report maintenance issues.
• Monitor transportation activities and collaborate during renovations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and traffic laws, demonstrating emergency procedures as needed.

• High school diploma, two years driving experience, and valid Arizona Class B Driver’s License with relevant endorsements.
• Certified in CPR, First Aid, and Arizona School Bus Driving.
• Bilingual skills in English and Spanish preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to operate vehicle controls, use two-way radios, and perform routine maintenance.

• Background check, fingerprint clearance, drug screening, physical exam, and proper training certifications.
• Willingness to work with others and uphold safety standards.

• Full-time position with annual pay ranging from $40,000 to $45,000, offering benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and 401(k) matching.
