The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. This individual is also responsible for counting and inspecting product and notifying leadership when there are damages or discrepancies. These Associates are accountable for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and will be expected to perform all duties as assigned. As part of the DSV team, Associates are expected to meet company objectives in the areas of performance, safety, and quality and to comply with all corporate and site‑specific policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Picking:
Use a pallet jack to accurately pick orders, stage products, pack, band, shrink‑wrap, and label as required. All picking functions will follow Standard Operating Procedures. - Quality Control:
Use documentation to verify that products and orders meet quality standards, report damages or discrepancies, and perform necessary packing and labeling. All quality control tasks will follow Standard Operating Procedures. - Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance:
Execute all safety protocols, maintain a clean and orderly work area, and comply with policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS Standards. - Equipment Operation:
Operate pallet jacks and other equipment safely and efficiently, report maintenance problems, and assist with general maintenance as assigned. - Other Duties:
Work overtime as needed and perform any additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Able to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures ranging from mild to moderate.
- English – reading, writing, verbal.
- Basic to intermediate mathematics for inventory verification.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work with minimal supervision, and adaptability to change.
- 6 months experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
- Current or prior Material Handling Equipment certification.
- Occasionally handle fingering and sitting tasks.
- Frequently bend.
- Constantly walk or stand.
- Lift or carry 21‑50 pounds; reach above shoulder, outwards, squat, or kneel.
The employee is rarely exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. Noise level is usually low to moderate.
