DC Warehouse Associate - Equipment Operator Potential

Shift: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm, Monday – Friday

• Starting Pay: $21.00 per hour

Pay Range: $15.00 – $38.31 per hour

• Ability to work overtime and extended hours as needed
• Prior warehouse, distribution, shipping, or receiving experience preferred
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment (stand‑up forklifts, reach trucks, order selectors, dock stockers) preferred
• Ability to safely perform physically demanding work – lifting up to 50 lbs, standing/walking for extended periods, working at heights up to 30 ft, and performing repetitive movements
• Experience with or willingness to learn warehouse technology such as RF scanners or voice systems
• Regular and reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Commitment to safety policies and PPE requirements

• Safely operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and Ferguson safety procedures
• Accurately pick, sort, stage, store, and transport product to assigned locations
• Perform daily tasks using RF scanners, voice systems, and/or labor management systems
• Build, wrap, label, and organize pallets, containers, and materials to maintain inventory integrity
• Maintain product accuracy, quality, and safety at all times while following standard operating procedures
• Communicate effectively with team members and support a team‑oriented work environment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, participating in ongoing housekeeping efforts
• Adhere to all safety requirements, including proper use of PPE and fall‑protection equipment when required
• Participate in team meetings and communicate concerns or improvement opportunities to management
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs
