Your ImpactAs an RMA DC Operator I, you will play an important role in Axon's distribution and returns operations. You will support outbound shipping and inbound receiving by ensuring orders are accurate, shipped on time, and properly documented while also receiving, routing, and tracking returned materials through the correct RMA processing areas. You are organized, detail‑oriented, safety‑minded, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced warehouse or distribution environment.
Your work will help ensure products and returned materials move efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company procedures and applicable regulation.
- Use internal systems and software to track, prioritize, route, and process orders and returns
- Support outbound shipping by preparing, verifying, and coordinating shipments
- Verify picked orders to ensure correct quantities, items, and documentation
- Ensure required shipping documents are properly included or affixed, including packing slips, bills of lading, labels, and other shipment documentation
- Inspect labels, barcodes, and shipment details for accuracy and completeness
- Coordinate outbound pick‑ups with UPS, freight carriers, or other logistics partners as assigned
- Receive daily RMA return deliveries from carriers
- Transfer materials throughout the department to the appropriate processing stations
- Document receiving discrepancies and elevate issues as needed
- Support various RMA processing requirements based on business needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all applicable company policies, safety procedures, and legal/regulatory requirements, including Dangerous Goods requirements when applicable
- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience
- Working knowledge of logistics, shipping, receiving, or warehouse procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment
- Problem‑solving skills and ability to identify and elevate discrepancies
- Ability to safely operate a forklift
- Experience handling RMA, returns, repair, or reverse‑logistics processes
- Experience with UPS, freight carriers, bills of lading, packing slips, or shipping documentation
- Dangerous Goods shipping or handling experience
- Experience using ERP, WMS, inventory, shipping, or order‑management systems
- Forklift certification
Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, carry for 8 hours at a time; lift 50 lbs unaided; ascend and descend stairs; grasp and use small parts; occasionally kneel, crouch, and bend as required to perform tasks.
Work EnvironmentWithin the Axon manufacturing facility, employees may be exposed to manufacturing noise, ambient temperatures, close quarters, hazards associated with working around moving machinery, exposure to vibrations and industrial lighting.
Personal Protective EquipmentPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided by Axon and may be required when job tasks are being completed in or around your assigned department or elsewhere. This includes but is not limited to safety eyewear and hearing protection. Employees are required to apply ergonomic correctness to all job tasks to the fullest extent possible.
