Position Overview

We are currently searching for an experienced Inbound Receiving Supervisor for our Facilities-Operations team at our Chandler Distribution Center, located in Chandler, AZ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and actively executing inventory control and warehouse systems activities to ensure inventory accuracy, system integrity, and effective stock governance across all warehouse operations. This is a working supervisor role, requiring approximately 70% hands‑on operational activity while maintaining the same productivity, quality, and accuracy standards as the team.

What you’ll be doing
  • Receive and supervise inbound deliveries, ensuring timely unloading, inspection, and receipting of goods.
  • Process goods receipts (GRNs) and inventory transactions accurately within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Perform product quality inspections and verify products against purchase orders and packing/shipping documentation.
  • Identify and report receipt discrepancies, including shortages, overages, damages, and purchase order variances.
  • Identify product issues including missing or unscannable labels, damaged packaging, and non‑conforming inventory, ensuring corrective actions are completed.
  • Execute and oversee product rework activities, including relabeling, bagging, pack splitting, kitting, and other value‑added services.
  • Supervise accurate put away of inventory and timely replenishment of forward pick locations.
  • Coordinate vendor returns, ensuring rejected or non‑conforming stock is processed accurately and documented appropriately.
  • Coordinate labor, equipment, and workflow to meet daily inbound volumes and operational priorities.
  • Maintain safe, organized, and efficient dock and staging areas to maximize receiving efficiency.
  • Maintain, review, and continuously improve SOPs, warehouse procedures, inventory controls, and health & safety documentation, ensuring compliance across all inbound operations.
  • Investigate operational issues and inventory discrepancies, implementing corrective and preventative actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and implementing enhancements across inbound operations.
  • Lead team development through onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management to ensure operational capability and consistency.
  • Complete regular performance reviews and support annual evaluations for team members.
  • Any other duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Company’s Values.

Is this role for you?
  • Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics operations.
  • Experience supervising operational teams in a KPI‑driven, fast‑paced warehouse environment (approx. 10 team members).
  • Proven ability to lead, train, coach, and develop warehouse employees in a hands‑on operational environment.
  • Strong understanding of inbound warehouse operations, including receiving, put away, replenishment, inventory accuracy, and stock handling.
  • Experience managing receiving discrepancies, product quality issues, and inventory exceptions.
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), RF scanners, and warehouse technology.
  • Strong planning, organizational, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
  • Ability to priorities workloads and allocate labor to meet operational targets and service levels.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace health & safety and continuous process improvement.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
