This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for building financial structure, improving reporting visibility, and supporting leadership with meaningful insights tied to operational performance. The Controller will play a critical role in aligning finance and operations while helping the organization scale efficiently. Key Responsibilities- Lead day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Ensure GAAP-compliant financial statements and reporting
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning processes
- Translate operational and production data into actionable financial insights to support decision‑making
- Establish reporting rhythms, KPIs, and financial visibility across departments
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls and support audit/compliance initiatives
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements
- Support ERP and financial system optimization and potential implementation efforts
- Build and lead a scalable accounting and reporting function
- Partner with leadership and operational teams to improve financial and operational alignment
- Prior experience as a Controller or senior‑level finance/accounting leader required
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting operations
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and operational finance
- Proven ability to improve processes, systems, and reporting visibility
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Experience with ERP systems and financial tools preferred
- Industry experience in manufacturing, healthcare, dental, medical device, or other operational environments preferred
- CPA strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
