Computer Aided Design Designer

🔧 About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Mechanical CAD Designer to support the Project Engineering team in designing chemical dispense systems and blending equipment. This role works closely with engineering and production to support manufacturing and customer‑specific designs.

Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Required)

• Solid Works & Solid Works PDM (Hard Requirement)
• Ability to read and edit P&IDs
• Understanding of design intent & Design for X in assembly environments

• Create and modify 3D models and drawings using Solid Works
• Develop and maintain mechanical layouts
• Read, edit, and create P&IDs and schematics
• Generate and review Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Support ECOs and change management processes
• Collaborate with production to resolve design issues
• Participate in design reviews and ensure customer specification compliance
• 3+ years of experience in industrial equipment or machinery design
• AutoCAD (2D) knowledge
• Experience with PLM systems (Agile preferred)
• Strong documentation and cross‑functional communication skills
