Job Description

We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to support materials testing and characterization activities under the guidance of senior technical staff. The role involves conducting mechanical, electrical, and thermal property testing of thermal interface materials and coatings, collecting and analyzing experimental data, and documenting results for engineering and research projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Perform mechanical, electrical, and thermal testing of thermal interface materials and coatings.

  • Execute laboratory experiments following established testing procedures and protocols.

  • Collect, evaluate, and document experimental data.

  • Maintain laboratory records and summarize findings in laboratory notebooks and presentations.

  • Generate charts, tables, and technical documentation to communicate test results.

  • Support materials characterization and performance evaluation activities.

Required Skills
  • 1–3 years of laboratory testing experience.

  • Experience performing mechanical, electrical, or thermal property testing.

  • Knowledge of thermal interface materials, coatings, or related materials testing.

  • Experience collecting, analyzing, and documenting experimental data.

  • Ability to follow laboratory testing protocols and maintain accurate records.

  • Experience working with hazardous or toxic chemicals in a laboratory environment.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data recording and analysis.

Preferred Skills
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field.

  • Degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.

  • Experience with materials characterization and performance evaluation.

  • Familiarity with laboratory reporting and presentation of technical results.
