JOB DESCRIPTION In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Contribute through planning, design, and modification of facilities assets to support the business functions within, including office spaces, laboratories, and manufacturing areas.
- Apply engineering principles to solve real-world challenges, gaining exposure to project management, technical documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Learn how engineering problem-solving methodology can be applied to complex problems involving infrastructure, energy efficiency, and sustainability.
- Participate in multiple projects at different stages such as initiation, design, planning, and execution, while working alongside experienced engineers and facility managers.
- Be exposed to critical and complex building systems such as chilled water, heating water, hazardous exhaust, electrical distribution, specialty gases, fire protection, and building automation systems.
- Assist in evaluating system performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing upgrades that enhance safety, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Support compliance efforts by helping ensure facility systems meet regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Gain valuable experience in CAD software, data analysis, and technical reporting to support engineering decisions and communicate project outcomes.
- You identify and seize new opportunities. You convert ideas into actions and produce results with new initiatives. You solicit both input and discussion. You collaborate well by making new connections and building relationships in other areas and teams.
- Pursuing a bachelor's in engineering
- Zero (0) years of related experience
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person at a Twin Cities location (Shakopee, Chanhassen, or Eden Prairie, MN)
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- GPA of 3.0 or above
- Prior internship experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

The hourly pay for this role is $24-$28, commensurate with the year in school and experience each candidate brings to a role.
