Staff Accountant Rotational Position

Compensation: $72,000 - $80,000

The Staff Accountant plays a pivotal role in our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This position offers growth opportunities, excellent benefits, and a vibrant work culture.

• Scrutinize accounting records, financial statements, and reports to verify accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards.
• Review transactional activity, ensuring accurate coding and maintaining financial reporting integrity.
• Prepare documentation for annual external audits.

• Prepare precise general ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the integrity of our financial data.
• Navigate complex workflows to ensure accurate general ledger entries.
• Assist with month‑end close processes by reconciling and analyzing general ledger accounts.

• Conduct meticulous sales and use tax analysis, ensuring timely compliance through our tax software.
• Manage annual property tax filings efficiently.

• Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and financial statements.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

• Work with detailed information while identifying underlying issues and improvement opportunities.

• Able to work independently and with others to contribute to team goals.
• Confidence to ask questions and get clarification, display a positive attitude, and have a strong work ethic.

• Must maintain high ethical standards and meet confidentiality requirements to ensure the security and privacy of financial data.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 1–3 years accounting experience; sales & use tax experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Avalara tax compliance software preferred.
• SAP background preferred.
