We are looking for an enthusiastic Press Operator to join our production group operating a new fleet of HP Indigo 12000 presses. The role involves reviewing electronic customer files and layouts, ensuring pre‑press operations are completed, loading paper, removing finished products, performing daily press maintenance, and following TBG protocols.
Responsibilities- Ensure files and layouts contain the necessary components and have been signed off by the designer and pre‑press operations to guarantee quality file resolution.
- Prepare and check files to ascertain they are printable.
- Confirm files are imposed and stepped up to maximize yield of specified substrate and print device.
- Print files once all quality checks have been completed in accordance with the job ticket specifications.
- Follow all TBG protocols and procedures according to company standards.
- Perform miscellaneous projects and tasks as requested by management.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience operating small or large format press equipment (HP Indigo 12000 / 100K press experience preferred).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly.
- Pay close attention to detail on every project.
- Basic computer skills, including Pace and Google.
- Self‑motivated, a fast learner, and able to seek out customer and corporate needs.
- Plan, prioritize, coordinate, and manage own work.
- Work independently, make decisions and solve moderate level problems independently, effectively and creatively.
- Complete projects accurately within deadlines while meeting company quality standards.
- Apply effective time management and self‑management skills.
- Understand and maintain confidentiality of company, employee, and customer information.
- Flourish in a team‑oriented environment, maintain a positive attitude, and handle change in stride.
Monday through Wednesday, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm
Compensation$44,460 – $51,854 annually
