Production Maintenance Technician
Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Production Maintenance Equipment Technician for a manufacturing company in Chanhassen, MN. In this role, you’ll serve as a subject matter expert for production equipment, performing advanced maintenance, repairs, and rebuilds to support safety, quality, and production goals. - Perform complex repairs, rebuilds, and modifications on advanced production machinery
- Fabricate parts using machining equipment such as lathes, mills, welders, grinders, and drill presses
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical equipment issues independently
- Assist with installation of new equipment and relocation of existing equipment
- Collaborate with outside vendors and internal teams to resolve equipment defects
- Serve as a technical resource; train, coach, and mentor other team members
- Follow all safety procedures, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out, and maintain a clean work area
- High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent job-related experience required. Trade school education (1–2 years) preferred
- Mechanical troubleshooting experience on automated manufacturing equipment and industrial maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical ability and ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Experience using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures)
- Strong math skills, including fractions and percentages
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work 12-hour shifts
- Comfortable working around loud noise and occasional outdoor conditions (PPE provided)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment, post-offer comprehensive assessment
