Inspector, Senior

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of inspections, checks and tests for quality control during manufacturing of Exlar electromechanical products.
• Inspect raw materials, components and finished goods, ensuring they meet design specifications.
• Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation to verify proper operation.
• Prepare and maintain product verification documentation.
• Follow standard operating procedures for mechanical inspection, test operations and product assurance.
• Communicate inspection results to cross‑functional teams.
• Identify root causes of nonconformances, propose corrective actions and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Recommend rework and repair activities to eliminate nonconforming conditions.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a U.S. person.
• 5+ years of experience inspecting precision‑machined components.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and apply a thorough understanding of GD&T.
• Demonstrated success with manual inspection tools and common mechanical inspection methods.
• Experience with CMM programming is a plus.

Location:

Hourly Rate: $20.58 to $27.40 (based in Minnesota; final offer depends on qualifications and experience)
