Responsibilities

+  Perform mechanical, electrical, and thermal properties testing of thermal interface materials and coatings under supervision, with a high level of initiative and independence.

+  Evaluate, collect, and record experimental data accurately.

+  Organize and conduct experiments following established procedures, and summarize/report results in laboratory notebooks or PowerPoint presentations.

+  Use a computer to input data, including charts and tables for communication of project results.

+  Assist in laboratory activities such as safety adherence, data entry, and experiment setup.

Requirements

+  1-3 years of laboratory experience or relevant technical background.

+  Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

+  Ability to understand and follow experimental protocols to preserve data integrity.

+  Experience working with toxic chemicals while following safe laboratory practices.

+  Ability to stand for most of the day during laboratory work.

+  Associates or Bachelor's degree in a technical field; degrees in materials science, mechanical, civil, structural, chemical engineering are a plus.

+  Basic experience in lab/workshop settings, understanding of safety protocols, attention to detail, and willingness to learn and train.
