Quality Assurance Technician
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Technician to support production quality and ensure compliance with established standards. This role involves creating and managing work orders, maintaining accurate documentation, and addressing quality concerns on the production floor. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage work orders and fill documentation aligned to the production schedule.
- Maintain retains, including collection, tracking, organization, and storage.
- Issue deviations and partner with QA to resolve issues.
- Address on-floor and QC inspection concerns, such as labeling, placement, and quality issues.
- Inspect and approve incoming components and evaluate questionable parts, escalating as needed.
- Establish and train on sensory standards for finished goods.
- Review batch records and provide a second sign-off.
- Complete changeover documentation for production runs.
- Maintain accurate records and tracking systems.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying issues and reinforcing quality standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Associate or technical degree preferred.
- 1–3 years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment.
- Working knowledge of FDA regulations, GMP/GDP standards, and quality systems.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chanhassen, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
