Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift

If you are a Maintenance Technician looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting position for you! Based in our Chanhassen location, you will work on 2nd Shift (M-TH 3:00PM to 1:30AM) and have an opportunity to apply your troubleshooting skills to perform maintenance and repair of sophisticated production machinery and mechanical equipment.

** In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:*
* + Ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures

+ Performing routine preventive maintenance on equipment and systems

+ Responding to equipment breakdowns by troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems with the goal of minimizing downtime

+ Documenting work orders and maintaining accurate maintenance records utilizing a CMMS

+ Installing, modifying, and upgrading equipment as needed

+ Working cross-functionally with production teams

+ Maintaining tools, parts inventory, and maintenance supplies

+ Supporting continuous improvement initiatives

** For This Role, You Will Need:*
* + Associate's Degree in Automatic Systems and Robotics, Electronics Technology or related

+ Ability to work 1st shift hours

+

Experience with measuring and hand tools

+ Legal authorization to work in the United States

* + Maintenance or job-related experience

+ Enjoys problem solving and troubleshooting activities to fix or repair equipment

+ Strong mechanical, electrical aptitude highly preferred

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $54,000-$65,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
