We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support accurate and timely payroll operations for a large employee population in Channelview, Texas. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who is confident managing end-to-end payroll activities across multiple states while maintaining compliance and precision. The role will focus on processing payroll, resolving payroll-related issues, and working within ADP Workforce Now to help ensure smooth payroll administration.

Responsibilities:

• Process end-to-end payroll for a workforce of more than 500 employees with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness.
• Administer payroll activities across multiple states while following applicable wage, tax, and regulatory requirements.
• Use ADP Workforce Now to enter, review, validate, and finalize payroll data for regular processing cycles.
• Audit payroll records, earnings, deductions, and tax with holdings to identify and correct discrepancies before submission.
• Respond to employee and internal payroll inquiries by researching issues and providing clear, timely resolutions.
• Maintain payroll documentation and support compliance efforts through organized recordkeeping and reporting.
• Coordinate with HR, finance, and related teams to ensure employee changes are reflected correctly in payroll systems.
• Assist with payroll process improvements and support system-related updates or changes when needed.
