Project Machinist Operator
Responsibilities- Set up and operate machines and tools to perform operations within machine capacity with special fixtures or holding devices if required.
- Comply with all of Turbo Fab’s Environmental, Health and Safety Programs, Regulations and Guidelines.
- Keep all areas clean and orderly; comply with housekeeping procedures.
- Maintain a safe working environment and meet production requirements.
- Ensure components meet tolerance and quality standards.
- Apply continuous improvement techniques.
- Ensure equipment is functioning properly and maintain records and documents as required.
- Train less experienced machinists as required.
- This position is for a fully competent and qualified Machinist and Machine Operators
- At least 1 year of experience as a machinist or machine operator with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of setting up and running production machining equipment
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Skilled in the use of precision measuring equipment and gauges to inspect machined parts
- Experience operating manual and CNC machining equipment
- Able to work 1st shift as assigned
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience as a machinist or machine operator
- Basic computer skills
- Experience setting up and running production machining equipment
- Ability to write, change and update programs
- Experience operating Horizontal Boring Machine and Kuraki CNC machines
- Ability to read/write G code and Feature CAM
Note:
Candidates may be placed on any shift, dependent on business needs.
$25.48 - $38.22
