The primary responsibilities of this position include pressure testing tanks, draining and drying out tanks, repairing and replacing valves, and ensuring that tank container valves, gaskets, and gauges function properly to ensure the safe transportation of products.

• Pressure testing tanks, draining and drying out tanks, repairing and replacing valves, and ensuring that tank container valves, gaskets, and gauges function properly to ensure the safe transportation of products
• Repairing and maintaining tank containers using hand tools, power tools, hoists, cranes, and precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Observing and listening to mechanical devices to diagnose causes of mechanical issues.
• Repair and replace defective parts, inspect and adjust used parts, lubricate and clean parts, operating lathe, drill press, grinders, and other metal working tools to make and repair parts.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Current forklift certification.
• Mechanical background.
• Ability to wear a respirator, work at heights on top of tanks and in enclosed spaces inside tanks.
• Experience in an industrial setting.

Starting pay $22.00 per hour
