Hydraulic Field Service Technician - Channelview Texas

Responsibility:

The responsibility of the Hydraulic Field Service Technician is as listed but not limited to:

• Service
  • Conducting service calls,
  • Inland and/or Offshore majors,
  • Inland and/or Offshore surveys,
  • Maintaining a high level of communication and service to our customers.
  • Responsible for equipment and consumables for the job and any items to complete the task(s) asked of them.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of the technician's vehicle.
  • Responsible for helping keep the shop area clean.
• Project Management:
  • Work with the Hydraulic Service Manager, Division Manager, and/or Office Coordinator on scheduling repair and re-man projects to ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Responsible for letting the Service Manager know if help is needed on projects to complete the repairs in the allotted time.
• Inventory and Recording:
  • Responsible for ensuring all parts taken from inventory is written down, and all paperwork is turned into the Inventory Department.
  • Responsible for ensuring all parts not used on the job are returned to the Inventory Control Department.

Qualifications

• a) Education (High School or GED Diploma)
• b) Practical Experience
• c) TWIC Card
• d) Valid Driver's license
• e) Minimum of 2 years of experience in the marine service industry
