Field Pump Technician

Aerotek -  - Responsibilities:
Service, repair, and overhaul vertical, horizontal, split-case, submersible, BB2, BB4, BB5, and other pump types in the shop and in the field.;
Assist the Pump Mechanic Supervisor with complete pump overhauls, repairs, and assemblies, ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.;
Perform field work 25%–50% of the time at ports, barges, and refineries, including pump repairs, swaps, and installations.;
Use measuring instruments such as tape measures, calipers, and OD and s to inspect, diagnose, and verify pump components and tolerances.;
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation to plan and execute repair and assembly work.
