We seek a skilled Boat Mechanic to ensure the operational efficiency and safety of our maritime assets. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical skillset in boat mechanics, coupled with a dedication to maintaining the highest standards of craft and equipment integrity.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance and emergency repairs on various types of boats.
- Conduct engine repairs, electrical system modifications, and hull maintenance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electronic problems and perform diagnostics to prevent failures.
- Document all maintenance and repair actions while ensuring compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations.
- Keep inventory of parts and equipment, placing orders for supplies when necessary.
- Ensure all work activities are in line with health and safety standards.
Required Skills
- In-depth knowledge of diesel and gasoline engine maintenance
- Proficiency in the repair of hydraulic and electronic systems
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and management
