Campbell Transportation Company, Inc. is seeking Entry-Level Deckhands for their Gulf Division. These positions are vital for ensuring the safety of crew, vessel, and cargo while navigating the western rivers. Deckhands perform a variety of tasks, including tow building, vessel maintenance, and safety operations. Ideal candidates are safety-conscious, physically fit, and eager to work in a dynamic marine environment.

• Strict adherence to all CTC policies, USCG, and federal regulations
• Ability to possess a Transportation Worker’s Identification Card (TWIC)
• Pass pre-employment drug test and submit to random DOT testing
• Pass pre-employment physical
• Valid driver’s license (Gulf Division only)
• Physically able to traverse boats and barges, transport equipment up to 100 pounds, ascend/descend ladders, and work in outdoor weather conditions
• Maintain ongoing respirator fit clearance and annual fit testing (Gulf Division only)
• Completion of pre-employment Benzene clearance and annual Benzene Monitoring Program (Gulf Division only)

• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior experience in a similar position within the marine transportation industry
• Prior experience in a safety sensitive position
