Office Manager

MOSS Building & Design is seeking a detail-oriented and organized full time Office Manager to support our growing team in Northern Virginia. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and wants to contribute to a supportive, customer-focused company that values work-life balance and professional growth.

Role will be in office for the first 6 months and then will transition to a hybrid schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily office operations and administrative functions
  • Manage office move, new office openings
  • Manage facility-related items
  • Order supplies as needed
  • Event support
  • Oversee insurance and licenses
  • Coordinate fleet and IT needs
  • Provide general administrative support to leadership and project teams
  • Handle Accounts Receivable
  • Support miscellaneous accounting and office projects as needed
  • Ensure smooth office workflows and maintain a professional, organized work environment
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in office management or administrative roles, preferably in construction, remodeling, or a related industry
  • Experience with light accounting tasks (accounts receivable, bookkeeping, cash reconciliation, etc.)
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic accounting software
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and a team-player mindset
  • Passion for supporting a customer-centric company that delivers high-quality home remodeling projects
