Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Account Manager role based in Chantilly, VA. The Account Manager will oversee and grow a portfolio of multifamily and other rental housing clients by serving as the primary point of contact for daily communication, service needs, and relationship management. Responsibilities include managing orders for flooring materials and replacement services, coordinating with operations and installation teams, monitoring job status, and ensuring timely and accurate project completion.

The role involves preparing quotes and proposals, tracking account performance, resolving service issues, and identifying opportunities to expand services with existing clients. The Account Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain service quality, uphold company standards, and support revenue growth in the Chantilly market.

Qualifications
  • Account management and client relationship skills, including experience serving as a primary contact, managing expectations, and maintaining long‑term partnerships.
  • Sales and business development abilities, such as identifying new opportunities within existing accounts and supporting revenue and growth targets.
  • Operational coordination skills, including scheduling, order management, and collaboration with installation and service teams to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients, prioritize tasks, and handle time‑sensitive requests.
  • Basic proficiency in CRM or account management software, along with standard office tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, and word processing).
  • Experience in property management, multifamily housing, or construction‑related services (flooring or similar trades) is preferred.
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving skills and a customer‑focused mindset, with attention to detail and follow‑through.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is beneficial.
  • Ability to work on‑site in Chantilly, VA, and occasionally visit local client properties as needed.
