Position Overview

To meet our needs, we are looking for an Executive Officer to support a client’s complex operational, administrative, and leadership requirements across the Greater Washington Metropolitan Area. Executive Officers require exceptional initiative, sound judgment, and strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. They are expected to operate as a central coordination point, managing taskings, prioritizing competing requirements, and ensuring timely execution of mission priorities.

Ideal candidates are proactive, detail‑oriented, and solutions‑focused, with the ability to anticipate leadership needs and translate guidance into action. Successful candidates are self‑stars who can multi‑task, manage ambiguity, and remain calm under pressure while working independently and as part of a team. Executive Officers must be able to engage effectively, comfortably, and confidently with senior customer managers, leadership, and stakeholders across the Intelligence Community, maintaining discretion while facilitating coordination, decision‑making, and mission success.

This posting is for multiple opportunities, ranging in years of experience:
Level 3: requires 7 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree
Level 4: requires 12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree
Level 5: requires 20 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree

* 5 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for a degree*

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 7+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Active Top Secret SCI security clearance with Poly at time of application
  • Familiarity with cable writing and classified databases, including specific targeting tools
  • Strong briefing and writing skills as well as the ability to work well with teams or individually with minimal supervision
Desired qualifications
  • Experience in Intelligence Operations/Analysis/Support to Field Operations
  • Experience using customer databases to monitor field traffic and communicate with field offices
Job Location

On site in Northern Virginia, Remote telework is not available
