Position OverviewJoin us in our fast‑paced support to the Space Development Agency (SDA). The SDA delivers space‑based capabilities to the joint warfighter through development, fielding, and operation of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. We are seeking a Defense Travel Administrator to support SDA’s mission.
Responsibilities- Provide travel administration support for the Defense Travel System (DTS), including walking users through document processing steps and providing basic troubleshooting assistance.
- Provide training for DTS users and operators, review DTS transactions, enroll new users in local databases, register profiles, and ensure all users are aware of processing procedures and requirements.
- Provide guidance regarding business rules and Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) compliance issues.
- Coordinate travel requirements to include local, CONUS and international destinations.
- Support changes to travel and assist in any required pre‑travel clearance and approvals in a timely manner.
- Assist travelers as needed during travel.
- Advise and assist customers in managing Government Travel Cards.
- Prepare authorizations and vouchers (local and non‑local) and assist travelers in meeting all prerequisites for travel within the United States and internationally.
- 5+ years of DTS experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- SECRET clearance required.
- Communication skills to effectively interface with senior military/civilian officials, managers, and customers.
- TS/SCI eligible.
Pay Transparency. The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $80,000 USD. This estimate is a good faith representation of all experience levels. QinetiQ US considers factors such as role, function, responsibilities, candidate experience, location, education, training, and key skills when extending an offer.
