We are seeking a Safety Coordinator to support health and safety operations at an active data center construction/project site. This position will help promote a safe work environment, monitor compliance with safety procedures, and work closely with field personnel and contractors to identify and address potential hazards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations and site-specific safety requirements.
- Assist with safety orientations, toolbox talks, and employee safety training.
- Support incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.
- Monitor PPE use, fall protection, housekeeping, and safe work practices.
- Communicate safety requirements to employees, subcontractors, and site leadership.
- Maintain safety documentation, inspection records, and reports.
- Assist with implementing and enforcing site safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- OSHA 30 certification required.
- 1+ year of safety experience required.
- Experience in construction, industrial, or data center environments preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Spanish-speaking strongly preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in an active, fast-paced jobsite environment.
