UX/UI Developer & Designer – Mid‑Level (TS/SCI w/FS Poly Required)
Job Description:
If you’re a cleared UX/UI Developer & Designer who proposes powerful business solutions, cares deeply about the user journey, and elevates user experiences by bridging the gap between intuitive design and functional code – read on.
- You must have a bachelor’s degree in UX, Design, or a related field, or 5+ years of professional experience working as a front‑end developer, web designer, UX designer in lieu of degree.
- You’ll also need 5+ years of experience designing and developing high‑quality front‑end websites using HTML and CSS, and 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design.
- WCAG 2.x, Section 508 compliance, responsive design, and front‑end best practices in secure government environments.
- Developing wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity mockups is your jam.
- Knowledge of human‑centered design methodology or design thinking principles.
- Working independently or jumping in to work collaboratively with a team.
- Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite including XD, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Certifications in UX/UI, Accessibility, and/or Front‑End Development.
- Developing and/or managing websites using a CMS doesn’t scare you and you are familiar with Joomla!
- You have an awesome portfolio or link you can share that showcases design experience.
- Ability to take the reins and manage projects through the website development process.

SalarySalary range will be provided during the selection process. Exact pay will be determined based on individual factors that may include years of experience, contract requirements, billable vs. non‑billable, position urgency/demand, and location/telework options.
