Job Description & How to Apply Below

We are a growing, multi‑disciplinary A/E firm with an award‑winning Landscape Architecture studio seeking a talented mid‑to‑senior‑level Landscape Architect ready to step into a Project Manager role.

Our team collaborates in a creative, energetic environment on a diverse portfolio of projects, with a strong emphasis on high‑quality urban spaces, K–12 schools, multi‑family residential communities, and parks and recreation facilities. While much of our work is concentrated in the Washington, DC metro area, we support projects nationwide.

This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed or soon‑to‑be licensed Landscape Architect who enjoys managing projects from concept through construction and thrives in a detail‑oriented, design‑forward environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead projects through all phases of design, from concept development to construction administration
  • Manage client relationships, presentations, and day‑to‑day communication
  • Coordinate internal team members and external subconsultants
  • Oversee contracts, staffing, schedules, budgets, and billing
  • Contribute to proposal writing and support marketing and business development efforts
  • Ensure technical accuracy, quality control, and high design standards across deliverables
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture
  • 5+ years of professional experience
  • Licensed Landscape Architect (preferred)
  • Strong design sensibility and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Land F/X
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) and MS Office
  • Experience with 3D visualization tools such as Sketch Up and Lumion (a plus)
  • Solid plant identification knowledge and understanding of woody and herbaceous species in the Mid‑Atlantic region
  • Strong written, verbal, graphic, and organizational skills
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects in a collaborative team environment

We offer a progressive, growth‑oriented culture that values professional development and work/life balance. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage; life insurance; short‑ and long‑term disability; a 401(k) plan; continuing education support; training opportunities; and a clear path for career advancement.

Compensation is commensurate with experience: $105,000 - $130,000

This role is ideal for a seasoned Landscape Architect ready to take ownership of projects, mentor team members, and play a key role in shaping impactful, community‑focused spaces.
